We’re very excited to announce the launch of the new Social Innovation Program website!
The Social Innovation Program (SIP) at George Mason University is the premier model for educating our next generation of social entrepreneurs. Now in its eight year, the Social Innovation Program brings together 25 undergraduate and graduate students for an intense summer institute in the DC Metro Region.
Over the five weeks of the program, our cohort of 25 students will:
- Attend classes taught by 30 Guest Faculty
- Be mentored by 3 seasoned social entrepreneurs
- Complete 15 consulting projects for local organizations
- Launch 5 Lean StartUp Business Plans
Our SIP graduates emerge able to successfully apply entrepreneurial approaches to social causes in the nonprofit, public, and private sectors.
