Are you interested in social entrepreneurship? Working in the field? Looking for inspiration or guidance in how to change the world?  Searching for a way to invest charitable dollars that will have an impact on our collective future? There are many ways our Center can support your efforts, expand your knowledge, and inspire you to achieve even greater impact:

  • Peer Support. Starting a new business venture? Thinking about it? Join StartUp Mason, a peer-to-peer entrepreneurship learning group for students, faculty, staff and community members.
  • Get Inspired. Our Center sponsors or co-sponsors multiple conferences throughout the year, including the Accelerating Social Entrepreneurship series. Each year we honor individuals who have made significant contributions to advancing social entrepreneurship, demonstrated a measurable impact in fostering social change, and displayed exemplary leadership in the field of social innovation. Meet our Social Innovation Champion award winners and nominate your favorite innovator. Finally, our On Campus Speaker & Film Series brings prominent speakers from the social entrepreneurship field to George Mason University throughout the academic year. Most events are open to the public. We hope to see you in the audience.
  • Inspire Others. Our staff and faculty are experienced public speakers eager to share their knowledge about the field of social entrepreneurship with your audience. Secure them for your conference, workshop or annual retreat through our Speakers Bureau. Or come visit students on campus and share your wisdom.
  • Study.  Our new Masters degree in Social Entrepreneurship Enrollment begins immediately for the Fall 2012 semester. If you’ve always dreamed of traveling with sensei-like faculty on an interdisciplinary path to becoming a social enterprise black belt, your dream has come true. We welcome applicants from around the globe and from all undergraduate majors for this two-year program. Only a handful of universities in the world offer a graduate degree in Social Entrepreneurship. Not yet ready for the Master’s? Enroll in one of the social entrepreneurship courses at Mason.
  • Get Student Volunteers. Need more volunteers for your organization? Look no further thanAVAIL, our online platform that facilitates effective collaborations between social change organizations and student volunteers.
