Now in its seventh year, the
Social Innovation Program (“SIP”) is among the nation’s premier models for identifying, educating and engaging our next generation of social entrepreneurs. We call it “SIP” for shorthand, but it’s more like drinking from a fire-hose of social entrepreneurship awesomeness for the participants in this groundbreaking six-week summer institute. Thirty of the top change-makers in the Social Entrepreneurship field deliver the cutting edge curriculum to undergrads and recent grads selected from a global applicant pool. Then student teams matched with pro coaches, test their mettle as valued consultants to social enterprises throughout the DC Metro area. Participants are equipped with the knowledge, skills, relationships and courage to formulate sustainable and scalable solutions to our most pressing social challenges. Our six classes of SIP grads are now pursuing innovative success in all sectors. Academic credit and scholarships are available.
